Timber Fencing Concrete Gravel Boards

Available in heights of 6 inches and 12 inches, our Plain Concrete Gravel Boards have been designed to be used in conjunction with our range of overlap Timber panels where they provide a reinforced plain and smooth finish. Commonly known as kicker boards, they are easily slotted into a concrete or timber post in order to raise the fencing above ground level, helping to extend their life spans.

By lifting the panels away from the ground, the gravel boards increase and improve the life expectancy of the timber fencing that are used in conjunction with them. The risk of the panels rotting is reduced, which may otherwise occur if we install them at ground level. These features not only increase the lifespan of a system but also enhance the strength and stability of the structure. As a result, the structure becomes more resistant to adverse weather conditions.

We have two different heights of concrete gravel boards available including 6 inches high and 12 inches high. The height of the gravel board you choose will depend on the height of your fence panels and the amount of clearance you want between the panels and the ground. A 6-inch gravel board is a good choice for fences with panels that are 3 feet tall or less. A 12-inch gravel board is a better choice for taller fences or fences that are located in areas with poor drainage.
