Temporary Fencing systems will often require an entry point so that pedestrians and vehicles can gain access to the site. As well as providing site access, Temporary Fencing Gates will allow help you maintain the security of the site when no one is there to monitor security.
Like all Temporary Security Fencing Panels, Temporary Pedestrian and Vehicle Gates meet the BS EN 10244-2 standard for galvanisation.
Pedestrian and Vehicle Temporary Fencing Gates are compatible with all types of Temporary Fencing Panels and are very easy to assemble.
Gates legs are easily slotted into one of the holes of a Temporary Fencing Foot, whilst a panel leg occupies the other hole. The latch post slots into the next foot in the sequence. However, you will need to purchase an extra foot when installing a gate into an existing temporary fencing system.
If your site is not regularly accessed by vehicles or people; but you need to create a provisional access point, there is an alternative option to purchasing a whole gate panel system. By using a Gate Hinge and Castor Assembly Kit, you can turn a Standard Temporary Fencing Panel into a makeshift gate. Whilst the Gate Hinge will enable the panel pivot through 180°, the Castor Assembly Kit will allow you to fix a small wheel onto the leg of any temporary fencing panel to make it run smoothly over the ground. The Castor Assembly Kit also lends support to the Gate Hinge and helps to ease the panel’s mobility.
