Our steel road plates are manufactured from carbon steel and designed to facilitate pedestrians and vehicles to cross over the holes or trenches. Road plates are a popular piece of equipment for providing protection in roadworks, construction environments, demolitions, and utility maintenance.

Two types of Steel Road Plates

Our plain steel road plates are made of top-quality carbon steel and are designed to suit a range of different working environments. The road cover can be placed over trenches and holes to prevent people or vehicles from falling.

Anti-skid steel road plates are designed to cover holes/trenches, but they are also equipped with an anti-skid coating which reduces the risk of skidding for pedestrians and vehicles. The anti-skid road plates even work in difficult weather conditions such as rain or ice. These robust anti-skid road plates are coated in Chinese bauxite which expands the life expectancy and durability.

Storage and Transportation

The steel road plates are incredibly heavy and cannot be lifted by hand. You will need to have machinery to transport to different locations. However, they can be stacked and secured on top of each other to reduce the amount of space needed to safely store. The road plates have lifting holes installed which are designed to make the moving process a little easier.
