Steel Palisade Fencing is always supplied with a galvanised finish which corresponds to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. By galvanising the steel, the Palisade is given a protective zinc coating to help prevent the development of rust.

Ground Suitability

This fantastic steel Security Fencing can be erected on many different types of surfaces, so it is ideal for a wide variety of locations including industrial sites, parks, agricultural areas and high security buildings throughout the UK.

Steel Palisade Fencing can be assembled on hard ground such as concrete, where it should be fixed to the ground with steel Bolt Down Palisade Posts and the correct Through Bolts. Alternatively, you may assemble Palisade Fencing on softer ground surfaces like grass, where steel Palisade Dig-In Posts should be set within the ground.

Palisade Fencing is also suitable for installation on both level and sloping ground. In addition to this, Palisade Fencing can also be built as a straight, continuous structure, or as an enclosure which features several corners.

With so many options available for steel Palisade Fencing, First Fence can guarantee to supply a high quality Security Fencing system that is tailored to your requirements.

Palisade Fencing Kits

Palisade Security Fencing is supplied as a kit ready for construction, which will reduce ordering time as items will not need to be ordered individually. All Palisade Fencing kits include:

  • Posts
  • Pales
  • Top Rails
  • Bottom Rails
  • Fishplates
  • M12 Nuts and Bolts
  • M8 Nuts and Bolts

The only items which are not included within the kit are End Posts and Postfix cement, so these will need to be bought separately. You can find these on the Palisade Fencing Accessories Page.

In order to put this kit together, we have a useful Palisade Fencing Calculator on each of our product pages. This calculator just requires you to input the length of your intended fencing system and then it will cleverly generate a list of items needed for assembly. The calculator will not only inform you of the correct items that you need, but also how many. Therefore, when you receive your Palisade Fencing Kit, you know that you will have everything you need to start construction of your fencing straight away.

Here is a guide to show you how many bays will cover various lengths of fencing (in metres).

When using the calculator to place your order for Palisade Fencing, you will be offered the chance to customise your fencing kit with a selection of options. You will just need to select ‘Yes I want to customise’ and the following options will appear:

  • Pale Type
  • Corners
  • Post Type
  • Finish (Galvanised or Polyester Powder Coating)
  • Fitting Service

Placing your order using the calculator is a really quick process. We also have a link to a helpful step-by-step guide which explains how each section of the calculator works.
