Available in widths ranging from 2.0m to 5.0m, these fantastic looking 2.0m high single leaf standard bow top railing gate kits are an ideal choice for creating access points in garden fencing perimeters, as well as use in more public settings such as parks.
Strong, stylish and made to last, each bow top railing gate has been made to our highest possible standards by our expert team of fabricators. To ensure that these metal bow top gates are able to withstand harsh outdoor environments, excellent quality zinc galvanised steel has been used. These zinc coatings provide the steel with a layer of protection against weathering and rust formation, whilst still providing the gates with a fantastic silver finish.
To enable the gate leaf to be secured closed when not in use, preventing the leaf from blowing open and causing potential damage to the hinges or injuries to users, each gate is supplied with a sliding latch leaf and catch post. This can then be further secured with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), preventing unauthorised access.
If the gate is required to be held open for extended periods of time, each of these 2.0m high bow top gates is supplied with a drop bolt. This drop bolt can also be used to secure the gate closed when it is not in use.
So that the 2.0m high bow top steel railing gates can be installed in a wide range of outdoor locations, they are available to order with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are suited towards locations where the ground type may not be suitable for holes to be dug, such as areas that may have been surfaced with concrete. This type of post has a base plate which allows the ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be drilled into the ground, securely holding the posts in place.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts are the ideal choice for locations where the ground type is soft, allowing holes to be dug for the posts to be placed in. They are then securely held in place with post mix (sold separately).
As standard, each gate is available with a zinc galvanised coating, which helps to protect the steel against rusting and corrosion whilst giving the gate a great looking silver finish.
However, if you require a more colourful finish to your gate, it is possible to order these 2.0m high standard bow top railing gates with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These professionally applied powder coatings are available in a wide range of colours to suit any environment. As well as looking great, these hard-wearing coatings also provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against weathering and rust.
(Please note: Lead times may apply for PPC finishes, please see the lead times when selecting a colour, or contact our helpful sales team for more information.)
If, for whatever reason, the powder coatings should become damaged, either through accidents or through acts of vandalism, it is possible to restore the coatings with the use of a touch up spray can. These incredibly easy to use paints can get the gates back to their former glory as well as restoring the protection that these coatings provide.
A gate restrainer is a highly effective safety accessory to add to your 2.0m high standard bow top railing gate systems. Each restrainer is incredibly easy to install and connects the gate leaf to the hinge post. As the name implies, these strong and robust stainless steel cords ‘restrain’ the gate leafs, preventing them from falling in the event of a hinge failure. By preventing the gate leafs from falling, it greatly reduces the risk of accident or injury to gate users at the time of hinge failure.
