A superb looking and cost-effective double leaf metal gate system which is an ideal choice for securing driveways, home gardens or for use in more public spaces such as parks or play areas. With widths ranging from 2.0m to 10.0m these steel vertical bar railing gates can provide access for anything from pedestrians to even multiple lanes of traffic entering or leaving a site.
Each of these fantastic looking 1.2m high double leaf vertical bar railing gates has been made using high quality galvanised steel by our professional team of fabricators. The zinc galvanised finish helps to provide the steel with a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust. This in combination with the strong and robust construction means that these gates will look great and provide a secure access point for years to come.
The 1.2m high double leaf standard vertical bar railing gates come supplied with a sliding latch which can be used to hold the gate closed when not in use. The gate leafs can be further secured with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), preventing unauthorised access.
Each of the gate leafs can be opened and closed independently of one another, which can be used to restrict the flow of traffic into and out of a perimeter system. These leafs can also be held open for extended periods of time with the use of the drop bolts. The drop bolts can also be used to secure the gate further when it is not in use.
So that these gates can be installed in a wide range of locations, they are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts have been created for use in areas where holes can be easily dug. These posts are longer than the bolt down variants, allowing for part of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with post mix (sold separately).
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are designed for areas in which the ground surface may have been covered with concrete, making digging holes impractical for cost or logistical reasons. These posts are supplied with pre-attached base plates which allow ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to hold the posts securely in place.
As standard, each 1.2m high double leaf gate has a galvanised zinc coating as standard. This provides the gates with a fantastic silver finish, whilst also providing a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust corrosion.
It is also possible to add a splash of colour to your rail fencing system with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These high-quality finishes are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing for the gates to either blend in with their environment or provide brightly coloured eye-catching points of entry.
The installation of a gate restrainer to your new 1.2m high metal railing gate can help to increase safety. They greatly reduce the risks of accident or injury in the unlikely and unfortunate event that the gate hinges should fail. Quick and easy to install, these incredibly strong stainless-steel cables “restrain” the gate leafs, preventing them from falling and causing injury to users.
